Query string parameters available for use

MyLiveChat uses a number of special query string parameters which allows you pass custom variables so that you can change the chat behaviour dynamically. This document presents the query string parameters available for use in MyLiveChat.

A query string parameter is a bit of code that you add to the end of your URL. Query string parameters are useful for passing data between web applications and use the familiar syntax:

Parameter Description
hccid My LiveChat ID of your account. This ID is assigned to your account when it is originally created.
lang The name of the query string parameter to use for setting the language.
